Ho Yoong Hoh – Chairperson and Cascades Area Co-ordinator
Originally from Malaysia and married with 3 children, Ho Yoong is a marriage and funeral celebrant when not tutoring at business school or running personal development courses for the community. He is the Neighbourhood Support Coordinator for Reelick Avenue in Pakuranga Heights and supports two other Street Contacts in the same street. He was elected as Chairperson for 2014 – 15 and guides and leads the committee as well as representing it at several district and regional meetings including one in Wellington.
Louise Morley – Deputy Chairperson and Half Moon Bay Area Co-ordinator
Married with two children and working as a business administrator keeps Louise on the go but she still finds time to be a street contact in Half Moon Bay and a committee member for Neighbourhood Support. Louise ensures the committee is represented at the appropriate Council and Police run meetings and that the required legal requirements of the Charities Commission are complied with.
Lyn Blaker – Secretary
Lyn is a native Scot, who after marrying and moving to South Africa finally found herself on the shores of New Zealand in 1980. Lyn and her family of two children settled in Auckland and she began her career in Counties Manukau with the Libraries. She was a career Librarian for 40 years. Her final role with Auckland council saw her take up the position of Team Leader in Community Safety until her recent retirement. This role really gave Lyn insight into community safety initiatives and she worked closely with Neighbourhood Support for many years. Lyn is a real asset to our NS as she has a vast depth of knowledge and understanding of what it takes to fulfill this role and she has a broad working and historical knowledge of Counties Manukau and Auckland Council.

David Thorpe – Communications, and Studfall St Contact
Married with 4 children and 4 grandchildren and lives in the Cascades Road area of Pakuranga. A former HR and IT Training Manager, he is involved in the community as a volunteer leader in SCOUTS New Zealand and has also belonged to a Neighbourhood Support Street Group for the last decade. In early 2013 he joined the Neighbourhood Support Team to assist with the production of the quarterly newsletter, maintenance of the associated database and the daily updating of the website.
Jenny Cunningham – Resources Controller and Reelick Ave Contact
Married with two children, Jenny lives in Reelick Ave and is one of three street contacts. A former PA to a National Marketing Manager, she is currently a administration person for an East Tamaki manufacturing company. Jenny manages the committee resources . This includes information packs, banners, signage and posters, projector, BBQ, gazbo, tables, and chairs.
